1. Clove Oil.

Cloves have been used as toothache pain reliever since centuries. Due to its antiseptic and numbing properties it provides relief from toothache. Usually people put a few cloves close to the affected teeth but using clove oil is a better fix for the issue. Clove oil is easily available in the market but if you want to make it at home you should take a few tops from the cloves (Don't use full Clove) about 7 to 10 are enough. Make powder of these clove tops and put that in a table spoon of olive oil. Burn this powder in olive oil and put this lukewarm oil with a cotton bud on the affected teeth. It will rapidly provide you relief from tooth ache.

2. Hydrogen Peroxide.

Rinsing the affected teeth with Hydrogen peroxide solution gives instant relief as it works as antiseptic anti fungal and cleans the area from germs. Use a cotton bud to put the solution on the affected area. Keep in mind don't swallow the mixture as it can be harmful for you. Cleaning with hydrogen peroxide solution will make it easier to vanish the infection and give you relief from toothache.

3. Garlic.

Garlic has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. You can use a piece of garlic and chew it near the affected teeth and let it stay on the painful area. It will fix the inflammation and provide you relief from toothache.

4. Vanilla Essence

Vanilla is usually used in Ice Creams and other food items but it works as pain reliever from toothache. Use 2 to 3 drops of vanilla essence on the painful teeth and it will instantly extract the pain from the area and will make you comfortable.

5. Baking Soda & Salt.

Mix 1 tea spoon each of baking soda and salt in a cup of warm water and do gargles with this solution. Salt is a good antiseptic and baking soda will workout as infection extractor from the affected area. 

The above mentioned remedies have been used as toothache relievers. But it depends upon the severity of the problem you have. Sometimes you may have to repeat these remedies to get relieved as the problem is more severe. You must visit your doctor to inspect the reason of the pain as the dental infection can cause some complications if not treated.

Oh, I feel your pain. I've been through that several times with my wisdom teeth. The ONLY thing that really worked for me when I had that was Advil. Try to limit yourself to only one pill every 8 - 10 hours. It works, but if you take too much it will upset your stomach. The pain normally will go away, without having to take anymore medication, in about 3 days. I also found that slurping around Jack Daniels Whiskey in your mouth for a little bit helps numb the pain. My EMT friend told me to do that and it actually helped a little. Any kind of alcohol will temporarily help numb the pain, but don't drink the alcohol and take the advil at the same time though.
